Waterford Energy Services Inc. Achieves Milestone in Offshore Drone Inspection Services in Canada

Offshore drone inspection

WESI working with partner AeroVision Canada Inc. has successfully achieved an endorsement from DNV-GL “Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Company Acceptance for Offshore Installation, Hull, and Equipment Inspections”. This is a first for a North American Commercial UAV Operator and we are exceptionally proud of this achievement. Expansion of WESI’s inspection services to a UAV platform and offshore markets is a key step towards our goal of providing top tier UAV services in Canada and around the world.

In addition to this achievement, the partnership has secured major contracts with vessel and offshore petroleum installation owners for UAV inspection and survey work to be performed during the spring and summer of 2017. This further enhances a formidable contract base in industrial inspection projects such as wind turbines, refineries, infrastructure projects and construction sites.

Coupled with WESI’s ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, AVCI can now provide a high level of assurance to current and future clients, specifically in the Oil and Gas sector, that our services have been vetted by some of the industry’s most respected authorities.
