Testing

TES provides testing services to help clients confirm integrity of their pipeline assets. Perhaps you require hydrotesting to prove asset integrity of a newly constructed pipeline. Perhaps you require pneumatic testing due to special circumstances. TES will carefully plan these activities and follow through with safe and efficient field execution. Review the services below to learn how we can help you achieve goals.

Hydrotesting

Do you need to prove pressure integrity of a pipeline prior to start-up? Do you need to prove pressure integrity of a pipeline following maintenance activities? Technical Energy Solutions (TES) conducts hydrotesting to confirm pipeline integrity. Typically, a pipeline is filled with water and a pressure test is recorded for a set duration as specified by client or relevant industry code. TES conducts hydrotesting across a wide range of pipeline sizes ranging from individual spools to complete pipeline networks. Moreover, hydrotesting is achievable across a wide range of pressures TES can also add preservation chemicals such as corrosion inhibitor, oxygen scavenger, and biocide if systems will be left static for significant duration. In subsea applications, dye can be added to assist with visual observation by diver and / or remote operated vehicle (ROV).

TES will generate a project-specific engineered procedure combined with a risk assessment to enable safe and efficient field execution. By applying this methodical approach TES helps you prove pressure integrity of your pipeline. As is customary for TES, parameters are monitored and verified utilizing calibrated instruments to drive safe and efficient operations.

Pneumatic Testing

Do you need to prove pressure integrity of a pipeline without introducing water for a hydrotest? Do you need to prove pressure integrity of a pipeline but cannot introduce water due to freezing risk? Technical Energy Solutions (TES) conducts pneumatic testing to confirm system integrity. Typically, a system is pressurized with either of nitrogen or air and a pressure test is recorded for a set duration as specified by client or relevant industry code.

TES will generate a project-specific engineered procedure combined with a risk assessment to enable safe and efficient field execution. By applying this methodical process TES helps you prove pressure integrity of your system while avoiding the introduction of liquids and / or risk of pipeline damage due to freezing. As is customary for TES, parameters are monitored and verified utilizing calibrated instruments to drive safe and efficient operations
